Author’s Tribute to Charlie Kirk Faces Unexpected Censorship from Amazon
KENTUCKY, UNITED STATES, October 13, 2025 / ITSNOTSORANDOM.COM – Following the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk, I experienced every possible emotion—grief, anger, disbelief, and heartbreak. But as the initial shock faded, my focus turned to the family Charlie left behind—his wife and children. They were his true inner circle, the heartbeat behind his passion and purpose. It was that same passion the enemy sought to silence.
Over the past year, I’ve had the honor of publishing 34 books—both my own and those of other authors—including four children’s titles. Not one of these projects has ever faced an issue or been flagged by Amazon… until now.
In the days following Charlie’s assassination, I felt deeply led to write a children’s book that would honor his life, his message, and his legacy. My first three children’s books were dedicated to my own kids—so I asked myself, why not dedicate one to Charlie’s children, in his memory?
Within days, I had written My Daddy’s Voice Will Not Be Silenced: The Story of Charlie Kirk and How His Words Touched the World. I hoped to release it on or near Charlie’s birthday, October 14, as a heartfelt tribute to a man whose words changed lives.
But on the morning of Monday, October 13, 2025, I logged into my Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) dashboard and saw a shocking notification: BLOCKED. Both the Kindle eBook and paperback editions were marked “BLOCKED” with a message that read:
“Your title is unavailable for editing due to either a copyright restriction or blocked content. Check your email for more details.”

How can a children’s book—a simple story about a father’s legacy and the power of words—be considered a “disappointing customer experience” especially when no one had the chance to purchase or review it yet?
After researching further, I discovered that I’m not alone. Several authors who have written about Charlie Kirk have also been blocked by Amazon.
It’s both ironic and heartbreaking that a book meant to honor someone who was silenced… has itself been silenced.
Yet, as always, God had another plan. This morning, He gave me wisdom and direction for a new path forward. This banned book will still be released—and it will reach the hands of those who need to read it.
